In the shadows of the past so distant
I cling to the sadness of my being,
So far from life – from finite and mortal life...

I remember the ancient times,
Where the cold winds counted my faces,
And debauchery of the cold and hazy soul
It took me to the dark side of life.

So cold and so deserted is life
of those who stopped living, who
the whispers of the chaotic world
it no longer echoes in the desert of the soul.

And I reflect on the world that corrodes me
